A Note from your
CMSA Middle Tennessee President
National Wellness Month
Dear CMSA Middle TN Chapter Members,
Greetings as we enter the vibrant month of August! I hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the summer season. This month is particularly special as we celebrate National Wellness Month—a time dedicated to focusing on self-care, managing stress, and promoting healthy routines. Wellness is a crucial element in our profession, where the demands can be high and the days long, so let’s take this opportunity to recommit to our own health and well-being.
Celebrating National Wellness Month:
In recognition of National Wellness Month, I encourage each of you to participate in activities that foster your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
• Prioritize Physical Health: Engage in activities that you enjoy, such as yoga, walking, or cycling, to keep your body active and energized.
• Mental Wellness Practices: Dedicate time to meditation, reading, or any other mindfulness practices that help reduce stress and enhance your mental clarity.
• Connect with Others: Social connections are vital to our well-being. Plan a meet-up with friends, attend community events, or reach out to a colleague for a coffee chat.
• Educate and Share: Use this month as an opportunity to educate your peers and clients about the importance of wellness. Share resources, tips, and personal stories that highlight the benefits of a well-rounded health routine.
A Note of Gratitude:
I want to express my profound appreciation for all of you. Your dedication to your roles and the compassion you show your clients embody the essence of what it means to be a part of the CMSA. Your work does not go unnoticed, and I am thankful for the positive impact you make every day.
Looking Forward:
Let’s continue to support each other and push forward in our commitment to enhancing health and wellness in all aspects of our lives. Your efforts in our field are vital, and together, we can lead by example, promoting wellness not only among ourselves but also in the communities we serve.
Thank you for your continued engagement and dedication to the CMSA Middle TN Chapter. I am excited to see what we will accomplish together this month and look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming meeting.
