Hello folks. We had a wonderful turnout last month for our first in person meeting in such a long time. Thank you all for coming out to support our local chapter. As in the past we do not have meetings in June due to National CMSA. We plan to be back in the swing next month and going forward.  

If you are  or know of any speakers and companies that are interested in providing education and lunch  to our folks; please contact Elizabeth McAllister,egraves@comcast.net. MAKE SURE to put in the subject line CMSA Education. Because this is something that is to educate we also ask for CEUs that can be applied for through PACE@ccmcertification.org or call 856 380-6836, it can take up to 30 days for the course to be approved, so starting early is beneficial . Case Managers/Social Workers can use and needs the CEUs for our certifications.

Well, April is almost over and it is good to feel warm temperatures again. Since our last note we have celebrated Social Workers month in March and Easter in April. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and were very good to your Social Workers.

​I have some exciting news! It looks like we will be able to meet in person May 18, 2022 @ 12:00 in the 3rd floor classroom at Centennial Medical, 2300 Patterson St, Nashville Tn 37203. Please park in B garage on 23rd ave.

We ARE STILL practicing safe distancing and face masks.

The CMSA board will provide lunch as it is just going to be a meet and greet this time. For all of those that had paid up sponsor memberships prior to covid; we are honoring that. We will be asking for new sponsors to participate as well. The first meeting we will not request pay but for meeting thereafter if not a sponsor member or individual member we will be asking for you to pay. We will let you know in the future the cost.

Thank you all so, so much for your continued support of CMSA and patience. It will be so good to see folks again.
               
I would also like to let you know about the vendor visit policy for Centennial Case Managers and Social Workers. The hospital is still practicing no vendor marketing unless seeing a patient to provide a service.
