A Note from your President Although I was not physically here for the August lunch and learn, you were in my thoughts. I thank the board members and especially Elizabeth McAllister for stepping in so I could have a wonderful and well needed vacation. I do hope that all of you are continuing to enjoy the monthly lunch and learns. A lot of hospitals are not letting vendors market to them as much or at all, so this is a good way to interact with vendors from all parts of Case Management. We have vendors from home health, medical supplies, skilled nursing, rehab, insurances and hospital Case Managers and Social Workers. If you have not been coming, please make an effort to come. The benefits are worth it. Education, CEUs, lunch and networking. Also we have been trying to keep the education opportunities update on our web site for your convenience. Next month is national Case Management celebration, just giving you a heads up so you can thank those who work so hard to take care of the needs of our patients. Thank you and I will see you for the September 17,2014 lunch and learn. Kathern Demicell, RNCCM Middle Tennessee CMSA Chapter Thank you to Our Sponsors!
